Isi artikelMini-CEX is a series of faculty evaluations based on student/resident-patient encounters. The encounters are short and should accur routinely throughout training. The medical student/resident can be evaluated on different occasions by different faculty; combine observation and evaluation of skills, attitudes and values with timely feedback from attending physician. Mini-CEX enhances both assessment and promote education. The purpose of Mini-CEX are !. Observing student/resident conducts a focused task in any setting; 2. rating students/resident on several dimension of competence; 3. providing student/resident with education feedback. The advantages of Mini-CEX include : 1. opportunity for students/residents to be observed interacting with a board range of patients in variety of setting; 2. to be evaluated by a number of different faculty members; 3. to have greater flexibily in both the setting and timing in which evaluation occurs; 4. time neede 15-20 minutes; 5. direct feedback.
