Isi artikelDesigning process parameters is conducted to improve the quality of pulley casting process in such a way 117(71 the process quality is quite robust to noise factors and to reduce the community risk of losses. Whereas, the operator constitutes tile noise factor. The quality characteristics used is “the smaller the better ‘ to minimize cast pu/Ici’ porosity. Based on the analysis results of the study on influential factor and level values’ of factor selection at optimum condition on the basis of averaged values and signal-to-noise (S/N) rasio. the combinations of factor levels indicated as less sensitive to noise factor are A2 (factor of composition of raw material and coke in the rasio of 7: 1). B2 (factor of composition of new cast sand and used cast sand mixture in the rasio of 1:2). C2 (factor of ferro-silicon inoculants of 0.2%).
