Occurrence of burning of vegetation land across Sumatra and Kalimantan happens every year. The impact of this phenomenon may cause harm to health, economy and ecology. Before burning of vegetation happens in an area, in general, which arises from one :urning spot aggravated by dry :ondition of land. The spread of the burning spot can be observed by using satellite sensors of NOAA-AVHRR on oanai3 and 4, while dryness conditions of vegetation can be observed by value algorithms of mount greenness of vegetation. By related analysis of iverages in existence of hot spots in rarea with value mount greenness vegetation, the burning crisis level in the area can be classified.
