People nowadays are concerned about energy efficiency and conservation. One of the vocal point on the electrical energy consumption or the electrical energy losses in the industries and buildings. Management philosophy in the use and conservation of electrical energy varies far more widely than os often supposed. Much is written from a philosophical stand point on the saving of energy and natural resources. This is all fine but to the user, such a philosopical approach means little or nothing. For the user, what counts is rupiah saved, even though the rupiahs lose purchasing power through inflation. They are real rupiahs nevertheless, and our medium of financial exchange. Therefore, the first principle of electrical energy management and conservation is, when you do not need it, turn if off.
