Before the merital law under the name Act 1 year 1974 began to take effect, there are several procedures to legitimate marriage. Eventhough the very heart of a marriage-the legal requirements of a marriage, based on thye writer research is having the same law power. It means that every marriage should fullfill every legal requirements. In Act 1 Year 1974 said that a marriage will be legal if the process a marriage fullfills the religion regulations and their believe. According to Article 26 part one of B. W. the legal marriage is about the requirements and every thing that should be fullfiled in order to marry. According to Islamic law the legality of a marriage must fullfil "Rukun Nikah" - marriage orders - which covers : bride and bride - groom, bride parents-representa - tive - witnesses, "ijab kabul" - trans - action,- 'mas kawin" - wedding gift., Each of those "rukun nikah" should be fullfiled. Without fullfilling those requirements, the marriage is illegitimate even according to law of Act 1 Year 1974, Civil Law, or Relegion regulation.
