Tarumanagara Univercity put 'Peraturan universitas Tarumanagara Nomor 067' into effect since 2006/2007. This regulation introduced new method in calculating the Grade Point Average (GPA) of the student which tent to raise totalcredits that can be taken in the next semester. Academic data showed that the average of the whole students' GPA of The Department of Architecture raise up to 0.15. The number of students with GPA above 3 also raise significanly. But observation to the students of 2004 and 2005 showed that they didn't take the advantage of this situation. They took less credits compare to the semester before. From 44 students of 2005 that took more credits after their GPA raise the semester before, 17 of them couldn't maintain their achievement. This showed that the raise of the GPA didn't raise the quality of the education.
