This paper analyses students’ behavior of reading comprehension including thefr expectation to the lesson format. Furthermore, several classroom activities will be discussed in order to meet the expectation. All is for the sake of cooperative and successful reading class. The paper reports findings of an investigation of students’ behavior of reading comprehension in LBPP LiA Surabaya and the faculty of Psychology of Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya. The data are collected by questionnaires and interviews, which identified different variables that may influence the students’ behavior and the effectiveness of the teaching of reading comprehension.
