A rod bar cutting tool is tool used to cut cylindrical steel rod by using human power. Cylindrical steel rods with the diameter of 12 mm are commonly used for cocrete building constructions and for welding workshops. A steel saw is another rod bar cutting tool. By comparing the two kinds of tools, the result shows that by using the steel saw we need 15 minutes and 35-40kg human power to cut the cylindrical steel rods with the diameter of 12 mm while using the rod bar cutting tool we need only 1 minute and 16,04 kg to cut the same material. We can conclude that the use of the rod bar cutting tool is more effective and efficient compared to the use of the steel saw.
