Isi artikelPigme color is insolulable color in water with hydrophobic character. Minasol M, Pertasol CA and Pertasol CB emultion paste mix of oil, water and emulgator, hopefully teh usage of emultion printing paste with alternative basic ingredients will be runable for pigment color printing on cellulose fabric, because pigment color good dispersion on oil Emultion paste. To study the characteristic of printing process and to find the suitable printing method have been carried out the trial which are curing printing method, with the step process, pre drying at 100 degree C, for 2 minutes, then curing process with various temprature of heat, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150 degree C for 2, 3, 4 minutes respectively at optimum condition that it was found the compotition optimum condition of emulgator/water/oil on pigment color printing , Minasol M, Pertasol CA, Pertasol CB were 45/355/600g/kg paste, 30/370,600 /kg paste, 40/360/600 g/kg paste respectively, where that of kerosene printing paste as comparison was 40/360/600 g/kg paste. The parameter tested for evaluation was viscocity of printing taste, printing sharpness, color deepness (K/S), fabric stiffness, tensile strength of the fabric, colour fastness on washing and rubbing. The result of the research paste printing emultion Minasol M, Pertasol CA, Pertasol CB and Kerosene, viscocity value are 94, 85, 85, 80 Poise. The printing sharpness very good with the value 1. At the limited temprature and the time of curing : The colour deepness (K/S) are increase, The fabric stiffness has been reduced and the tensile strength of fabric has not change, neither color fastness change due to washing and rubbing. The suitable printing method for Minasol M, Pertasol CA, Pertasol CB, and Kerosene emultion printing paste at curing temprature 130 degree C for 3 minutes, curing temprature 120 degree C for 3 minutes, respectively. The result of Petrasol CA, Petrasol CB emultion printing paste research is similar with kerosene emultion printing paste.
