The term of compiler deals with two major tasks: analysis of source language and synthesis of target language. A compiler has dictionary and procedures to recognize source language which will be converted into target language. The complexity of compilation process depends on how big source language is. In real case, source language is a simple language with a few vocabularies or tokens so that the compilation is less complex. Since the source language is quite simple, such as high level programming language PASCAL, and the tokens can even be stored in a single table, the procedure what compiler deals with is not complicated to be set up. Compiler usually has a single certain set of procedure, therefore it only recognizes a certain source language and produces a certain target language. This writing is aimed for understanding in basic compiler, especially in analysis and synthesis phase.
