Isi artikel
The major focus of this article will be a discussion of the transcultural nursing implications of the care practices of caregivers of children who are Taiwanese temporary residents in the United States. In the multicultural and transcultural environment found in the United States, it is imperative that nurses and other health care professionals understand the care practices of people of different cultures. Included in the mix of different cultures are those who are living in the country temporarily. People who are transient may adhere to traditional health beliefs and practice and at the same time embrace the cultural life ways and beliefs of the host country.
