Each year the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) releases its Work Plan. The Work Plan outlines the direction that the OIG will use for its activities during that year. The 2004 Work Plan has several studies that will directly affect home health care providers. These relate to the Prospective Payment System (PPS) and their impact on beneficiaries and services and are presumably undertaken to determine if vulnerabilities exist.
