Isi artikel
One religion with a major focus of breaking down barriers of prejudice is the Baha’l, and for that reason it seems appropriate for discussion in this column. Baha’l (pronounced Ba-HA-yee) is based on the premise that over time, the applicability of highly organized religion is more difficult due to the inevitable changes in society. As time passes, changing technology and new social norms weaken the traditions of time past. Religion, being a highly traditional facet of life, has a propensity to become stale according to Baha’l. The founder of Baha’l, Bahaulaa (pronounced Ba-HA-alla), developed clear principles to serve as guidelines for followers enabling the adaptation of the religion’s beliefs to a changing world.
