Thirteen years ago, Susan-Jane Rossi (Sue) applied for a position in the organization in which I worked, and instantly, it was evident that she was one of those down-to-earth, “real” people— the type that make the best of friends. But little did I know about all that Sue has to offer, and it has been a privilege to workwith her on this issue of Home Health Care Management & Practice (HHCMP) and even more of a privilege to have her as a friend. To observe Sue is to learn about people, about caring, and (yes, exhaustingly and lovingly) about exuberance. She has an affinity for making lemonade in those instances when life only has lemons to offer.
