Down syndrome patient have typical description of dermatogliphy and differ form normal people so that can be used to assist the diagnosis. The purpose of this study was to to know description of dermatogliphy at finger and palm of Down symdrome patient in Banjarmasin and Martapura South Kalimantan. This study was descriptive research, sample amount 24 ones who is taken by stratified random sampling from existing SDLB in research region. This study has shown indicate that there are fourth especially pattern type (Sinus ulnaris, Sinus radialis, Vortex and Arkus) with highest frequency of Sinus ulnaris type (75,85%). Amount of total sulur at the end of finger is 157. Pattern of triradius interdigitalis found at digital II (100%), digital III (93,75%), digital IV (64,58%) and digital V (87,5%). Tenar pattern frequency 41,66%, hipottenar pattern 77,08%, Simians line 93,74% and Loop palm pattern 100%. Result of this study can be concluded that description of dermatogliphy of Down syndrome patient in Banjarmasin and Martapura have triradius digital pattern, hipotenar pattern, Simians lines and Loop palm Pattern.
