It is with great pleasure that I introduce our readership to Susan Breakwell, a highly professional and articulate assistant professor from Rush University College of Nursing. Susan finds that her current position in the Department of Community and Mental Health provides her with an opportunity to combine her interest in home health with her love for teaching. Her responsibilities include didactic training and then the practical application of that training to both undergraduate and master’s degree candidates. Prior to her position with Rush University, Susan worked with a clinical group of professional students from Loyola. This was preceded by a firm foundation (15+ years) in several Chicago area home health agencies.
