Educational institution could be viewed as a system. It has the goal to serve community by teaching the students and deliver workforcc. It also has the goal to make profit and winning the competition amongst educational institutions. Unfortunately, educational institutions are not using the scientific methodologies they teach to solve their problems. This paper discuss educational institutions as a system, the model of competition, and strategic planning as a role to win the competition. It is proposed that a manufacturing strategic planning model is adopt to build an education strategic planning model. It than is used to show the context of curriculum in education strategic planning. It is strongly recommended that curriculum is designed in a matter to win the competitive advantage.
