The operation of the floated bagan in Moluccas Sea in general and in Ambon City in particular has been widely known by local fishermen. The size of operated floated bagan is 21 x 21 m2, and it is estimated that the effectiveness of fishing is low because it is still operated traditionally. The objectives of the research are: 1) To analyze the pattern of catch base on hauling time, 2)10 analyze the effectiveness of floated bagan by using mini purse-seine. The result of this research hopeful can be useful as an input by local fishermen, particularly to increase their Income. This research was executed with experimental fishing method through following floated bagan operation. The effectiveness of floated bagan is calculated from ratio of began catch with total fishing began and mini purse-seine catch.
