During five year the KPPU has not much generated big - shots in taking action and enforcement of anti monopoly and unfair competition law in indonesia. This occurs not because of the commission imperfection, but a few factors should have influenced on the commission performance as well as many parties may have contribtued ot the powerless of the commission decisions. Such factor as unfocus objective of the anti monopoly and unfair competition law (whether to aim at national economic efficiency or to prevent from monopolistic practices) may create confusion and misunderstanding of the law. Another fator is infirmly regulation of the Law No. 5 / 1999 in relation to examination process, investigation, prosecution, law procedure to be use to and the execution of the commission decision.
