The structural analysis in designing the RX-250 rocket nozzle is a significant process in minimising the weight of the rocket. This paper discused the process in determining the dimension of the RX-250 rocket nozzle. The structural calculation used the input from aerothermodynamic characteristic of the nozzle, that was the pressure and temperature inside the nozzle. New methods were used on the aerothermodynamics system of the nozzle and the strength of material calculation, which define the safety factor desired at the beginning of the calculation. These methods successfully reduce the weight of the nozzle by 40%.
