This research has been done to identify the basement structure located at the Lampung province roadway, specifically at a landslide area in sumberjaya distric, west Lampung, using resistivity method with the wenner-schlumberger configuration. Data processing was done using the Res2Dinv program, yielding rock layers in the landslide area. The result analysis show that the under surface geology structure varies extensively. The top layer consist of rock sedimention from younf volcano mixed with aluvium. The lowest is a compact layer with resistivity of about 250 Om wich can be interpreted as the andesitic basement lying in the deepness of more than 20 m. The landslide is caused by the instability of the top layer structure due to the rain infiltration during rainy season, and the existence of high porosity and rigid sandstone-tuff layer under the top soil layer.
