As a developing province,Jambi province in Sumatra island have several small and medium sized industries,and numerous flora and fauna,and also historical relief and cultural believes,the norms of Jambi people,rooted in the cultural values,up until now are still preserved.The tourism development in Jambi has enable tourists to visit Jambi and enjoy every facilities such as accommodation,restaurant,transportation and infrastructure in order to maximize the tourism enjoyment.It is highly beneficial for the Jambi province,related to the transportation facility,which enables tourists to travel to many places.There are land transportation,such as buses,and also river transportation,which has been used in the past,which lies through the Batanghari river,and also perceived as the longest river in Sumatra.With the numerous transportation facilities on Batanghari river,the local goverment,it is recommended that a seminar in order to increase the emotional bond to the culture,by establishing relief,handicrafts of symbolols,and related motives of the Jambi culture,be placed on the available transportation facility.Its purpose is to encourage the tourists to know more about Jambi culture,and also to provide a more depth interest to visit Jambi.
