Isi artikelThe degenerative disesses which have significant influence on the people is Coronary Heart Diseases. Among the diseases is Coronary Thrombosis which has become the number one killer. There are many risk factors of Coronary Thrombosis. The study limits only few factors that influence Coronary Thrombosis. The social demographic factors which are age, sex, education, and occupancy. The health risk factors are smoking, hypertention, high cholesterol, diabetes mellitus, and obesity. The sample in the study are the patients of the Coronary Heart Deseases aged 20 years and over who have been admitted the first time in Rumah Sakit Jantung Harapan Kita Jakarta. The data collected from the sample of medical record status of the patients. The analysis used Logistic Regression Model found that 4 factors have significant influence on Coronary Thrombosis. The 4 factors are age, sex, high cholesterol, and obesity. Each has Odd Ratio of 6,15;1,1;2,80;and3,5 respectively. G2 test is 41,98 and the value is lager than the Chi square table whichis 9,49 at the 5% degrees of freedom, and the logictic model is appropriate for the study. High cholesterol and obesity are related to modern life style eating patern. To avoid Coronary Thrombosis the person must conduct health check-up regularly so that the disease can be detected as early as possible.
