The objective of this research was to find out the students' streetfood consumption habit (fi"equency, bring food and moneyfrom home), their level o.f preferences on streetfood (beverage) and knowledge degree about the right pattern of consuming streetfood habit. The research was done in Dukuh Menanggal 11/425 Goverment Elementary School, Gayungan District, Surabaya, by involving 70 respondents that consist o.fthird,fourth, fifth, and sixth classes students (8-13 years old) that were selected by proportional random sampling. The data about street food consumption habit was collected by interviews by using questionnaires. The respondents knowledge degree and their level o.fpreference on street food (beverage) were measured with scoring system. The result of the research indicated that all respondents (100%) had streetfood consumption habit. There were 52.9% respondents that rarely having breakfast before going to school. All ofreJpondents (100%) brought money to school, but only 2.9% broughtfoodfrom home. There were 80% respondents consumed streetfood once a day in school. Thefavourite streetfood that seenfrom colors, tastes, smell, and contain was es jeruk and the worst was es potong. There were 87.1% respondents had good knowledge about the right pattern of consuming streetfood habit. To prevent the bad effect o.fwrong consumsion streetfood, education is neededfor the students. Education can be given by teacher or parents.
