This paper aims to know and analyze the impact of decreasing of fuel and electricity tariff subsidy or a rise in fuel price and electricity tariff on transportation and manufacturing sector. Decreasing in this subsidy impact to increasing of fuel price and electricity tariff. The analysis is done by running a simulation using INDORANI Applied Computable General Equilibrium (ACGE) Model. This model was developed by Pusat Studi Ekonomi dan Kebijakan Publik UGM (d/h PAU Studi Ekonomi UGM) in cooperation with Impact Project, Center of Policy Studies, Monash University, Australia. The simulation assumes that the average rise in fuel price and electricity tariff is 22 percent and 24 percent respectively. The result of the simulation shows that rise in fuel price and electricity tariff has a negative impact on transportation and manufacturing sector performance, based on value-added, domestic price, energy price, and employment as well.
