Breastfeeding is considered as a natural ccatraceptive method. Approximately 50% mothers giving breastfeeding are experiencing unovulation until they are weaning their child. Thic::: f'search aims to analyse the relationship between breastfeeding and wotr~n fertility in Tambaksari Kidul village, Kembaran subdistrict, Banyumas District. This research is analytic observational, cross sectional study. Population of this research was mothers attending midwife practice room in Tanlbaksari kidul village, Kembaran subdistrict, Bal1yumas district. The sampling method was total sampling. Data were collected by questionnaire. Pearson correlation was used to analyse the data. There was a significant relationship at good level and positive correlation between breastfeeding and women fertility in Tambaksari Kidul village, Kembaran subdistrict, Banyumas District (R= 0,875; p=O,OOO). In conclusion, the longer the duration oflactation, the lower the woman fertility
