Toxoplasmic chorioretinities is the most prevalence eye disease in the world. The purpose of this study was to find out the characteristics and patterns of the diseas~ at Cicendo Eye Hospital, Bandung. One hundred and thirty four medical records were collected from hospital medical record from January 2004 to December 2004. It was revealed that the disease occurred most commonly at the second and thirds of life (38,06%) (range of age: 6-62 years old). Another finding were blur (69,41%), floaters (14,93%), macular exudates (49,33%). IgG positive serologic test (61,94%), and an increase in visual acuity (68,87%). It was concluded that the disease occurred predominantly at the second to third decade of life and more than thirds of patients regained their visual acuity.
