This research is backgrounded by controversy which is expanding in society related to role of political party (Parpol) in regional leader election (Pilkada). This research use description type, with explanation. Source of data determined b using Purposive Sampling technique. The Instrument that used in data gathering are using interview technique whit data resources: and using documents or file that already have. Data validation using data triangulation method. Technique of data analisys following steps that contain in the kualitative research. its mean collecting data. interpretating. and conclution withdrawal. To see how far role of Parpol in Pilkada, perception instructed to phase of registration and candidate stipulating, phase of campaign. and also phase of collection and electoral count. At phase of registration and candidate stipulating, it seems that role of parpol is very dominant. In this phase. Parpol involved directly and role very dominant. Role of Parpol also seen from campaign phase. How far Parpol involvement or more and more official member of Parpol which is involved in a campaign team/ campaign expert. it means more bigger potention role from pertinent Parpol. Meanwhile in the case of campaign financing, role or contribution of Parpol can be said is nothing. At phase of collection and electoral count. role of Parpol (through campaign team/ successful team) is only for distribution of witness. Only candidate couple obtaining settled support from Parpol and have the adequate fund support are able to placing its witness especially in each of TPS. Look into the mirror from execution of regent election/proxy of regent of Sub Province Boyolali. proven that existence of Parpol in supporting candidate couple that proposed is very influencing voted or not the candidate couple. beside figure factor of the pertinent candidate in society eve (elector).
