Isi artikelGastropod is a group of mollusk living in various habitats. They exist in marine in freshwater territory as well. The way kambas national park is a protected area, yet research on freshwater gastropod has never been conducted. This research is aimed to study the existing type of gastropod based on their habitats, morphology, anatomy and distribution. The methods used in this study by taking samples randomly and thrice repetition. There have been found six types of gastropod consisting of four freshwater gastropod i. e. digoniostoma truncatum, melanoides tuberculata, indopanorbis exutus and pomacea canaliculata, two brackish gastropod i. e. nentina violace, littoraria scabra and also three kinds of shells of marine gastropod. The highest type sum found in the way penet, i. e. four types, while in the way kambas and kali biru are found two brackish water. There is no gastropod found in the kali binjai, kali batin and the way kanan. The way penet habitat tends to be freshwater territory with temperature of 30 celcius degree while the kali biru and the way kambas tend to brackish water and marine territory with temperature of 26 - 30 celcius degree. Anatomy difference of the reproductive system stnds out that melanoides tuberculata species broods its egg in the uterus, and bears 20 - 90 young small snails.
