Isi artikel
Social stratification is inevitable and inherent in human life and thus ubiquitous. However it sometimes brings negative effects to social life and interaction if friction prevails among classes. This is the reason why prose and fiction writers claim as a theme to enrich their writings as the reflection of life itself This article is an attempt to strengthen the premise that life and literature are closely related and that they are mutually and complementary distributed. Novels and short stories here are examples which reflect both the writers attempt to either picture ationship centrifugally or centripetally. Thus some suggest debatable ways minimize the negative impact of social stratification and some just reflect it the readers are left to conclude. A Tale of Two Cities for example. warns can end up in revolution. while Animal Farm clearly pictures it just reflection of the nature human life.
