Some hydrochemical processes found in groundwater as long as its flow below the depth. There is salt enrichment process namely membrane filtration where commonly happened in the deep groundwater system. In Jakarta Groundwater Basin found brackish — saline groundwater at some locations. These salt enrichment may be found in deep aquifer zone, especially in III Aquifer Zone. This interpretation based on chemical groundwater analysis where Ca2+/Cl and Mg2+/Cl ratio developed as TDS (total dissolved solids) rising shown in some groundwater samples. This matter supported by much clay layers consisting this basin, and also squeezing out of saline groundwater passed by semi permeable filtration membrane due to compaction process. The rock layers enroll as filtration membrane in this basin may be clayey sands or sandy clay.
