Web Service is a Web application which can be accessed, receives inputs, data processing, and provides outputs. It contains a bunch of functions which is integrated and published on network to be used for other client applications. Web Service also uses Web technology such as Web server and HTTP. The communication between Web Service and client applications use message format SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). SOAP is a standart message format to communicate between Web Service and its clients. In other hand, communication between Web Service server and database server use ADO.NET.
