Isi artikel
This research was aimed find out the profile of worm eggs morphology using scanning electron microscope, and many different prevalence of infections of worms in which their habitat are in abomasums of sheep and goats. The research was held at the Laboratory of Helminthology Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for abomasum surgery, identification and collection of worms and their eggs, and in UPT. Electron Microscope Airlangga University for scanning electron microscopic examination. Twenty five samples of abomasums of sheep and goats from Pegirian slaughter house Surabaya were examined to find out of infected worms. The infected worm then were identified and incubated at room temperature to find out their eggs. These eggs then were examined their ultra-structure by using electron microscope. The results showed that the morphology of egg’s wall of Haemonchus sp was covered by un-structured layers, and the prevalence of both infections of Haemonchus sp and Trychostrongylus sp in abomasums of sheep and goats was highly significantly difference (p < 0.01).
