Optical density (OD) is a intensity colored at a certaince absorbance. It means the OD, which can be detect by spectrofotometer. The assotiation of OD grade is a sequence of DNA amino acid. More better of a dental material more sintesis the sequence of DNA amino acid. Until now there isn’t known a influence of cold curing resins on the decrease of the DNA OD of epithelial oral mucouse. Resins cytotoxicity is postulated as product reaction or a part, that is non polimerized cold curing resins, that is leach out from a denture base. Light-Polimerized resins was proved that coud be inhibit a replication of the epithelial oral mucouse. It shown that DNA sintesis more sensitive effect for citotoxicity material, that it cause deviation of oral mucouse. This in vitro stydy examined the DNA OD of fibroblast cell BNK-21 because a expose of MMA monomer as equal as DNA sintesis of oral mucouse epitelial cell. DNA extraction was used Chelex to examine the DNA OD. Chelex was used because it has some advantance likes: easy prosedure, high precition and has economy value (Promega). The results of this study are in each exposed of MMA monomer reduce the DNA OD from the cell culture at the time incubation 12 and 18 hours. The mitosis process or cell multiplication depend on the protein gen regulation. The cell can growth abnormally because there is no inhibition contact any more. Some inductor that can be fosforilation induction at transcription DNA are uv light, c AMP, phorbolester, and heavy metal salt and hitshock. Activation gen by fosforilation can be influence the function from the promoter of nucleotid sequence. Gen that regulate the fosforilation or proliferation is decided by: c-Fos-Gen containing TATA BOX which is primary signal transcription. This become a question why this results of this study different from the previous study. The most possibility is the fact that MMA monomer influence on fosforilisation. The fosforilisatin is the importance stage of primarily transcription. By this way the DNA sintesis to start. This should be carefull for uncontrol DNA sintesis. Hence, a methyl methacrylate of cold curing resins can influence the DNA OD with assumtion there is the disturbence of DNA sintesis.
