Isi artikelThe objective of this study was to know factors which relating to status of Tetanus Imunization and to know implementing TT’s imunization. Factors are mother’s characteristic (age, education, work status), mother’s knowledge about TT’s, immunization, number of child, husband and family (age, education, income, householder cost, distance to the health services). Method of the research is cross sectional. One hundred mothers having 0 – 24 months old children were selected randomly. Data was collected by interviewing respondent using questionares. The data were analyzed descriptively and analitically by using Chi Square. The study showed that mother knowledge was related with the status of TT’s immunization (p = 0,00249) and the other factors showed wasn’t related with the status of TT’s immunization (p > 0,05). The implementation of TT’s immunization in Lumajang District is running well. Health information including TT’s immunization have informed through radio (District Health Office) and posyandu (Health Centre). Direct information to bride candidate have given too, but the number of drop out TT2 in Rogotrunan’s Health Center is still high (20,4%). Based on the result of research, the suggestion is (1) information about TT’s immunization not only to direct target but to other target too (husband and family member) (2) intensity and quality of the health information improve needed (3) confirmation to the midwife, doctor and clinics to reporting the result of immunization coverage routinelly. For the provider should be more proactive in data collecting from the private services.
