Contribution of State Own Corporation in term of tax payment increases gradually from year to year. This is seen in the tax collection of year 2000 from total of IDR 115,912 billion arround IDR 9,357 billion (more than 8%) was the tax contribution of State Own Corporation. In the 2005 total tax collection was IDR 351,973 billion almost 12% of it was tax of the State Own Corporation which was IDR 41,986 billion. Tax is the property of state which comes from people, whilst the State Own Corporation’s capital (partly or as a whole) comes from the separated state property that means originally from the people as well. In its business activities, therefore the State Own Corporation role is producing goods and/or services needed by people in order to generate prosperity for all citizens.
