Isi artikelIn this research has been done structure modification and membrane pore that suitable with mass transport in hemodialysis membane proses. Membrane must be thin, but strong enough and has high perselectivity value for protein, but low for salt that are useless. Preparation of membrane using phase inversion technique that known as “Loeb and Sourirajan method” produces assymetical structure. The size of membrane pore were varied by modification of the composition of cellulose acetate, acetone, formamide and poly ethylenglicol and also time duration of vaporization process. From the result of this research has found a membrane that has the best performance and ability to reject albumine with percentage about 95,1% with membrane composition as follow: cellulose acetate 18%, poly ethylenglicol 12%, formamide 32% and acetone 38% by weight. The time of vaporization process is about 10 minutes, and the lowest percentage value of rejection for urea is 1,83% on the same membrane composition.
