Isi artikelIndustrial valves serve a wide range of industrial applications and frequently operate in an integrated control system. Valves typical account for 5 to 10 percent of capital spending for major end - use sectors like process manufactures, resource industries and public utilities. U. S. demand for industrial valves in forecast to advance 6,8 percent annually to $ 11,8 billion in the year 2000. Producers must offer favorable pricing, full service packages and a constant flow of better performing valves. To cut costs, they are aggressively rationalizing products, processes and facilities. The global market is projected to grow faster than the U. S. market, rising 8, 4 percent a year through the year 2000 to over $ 51 billion.
