Isi artikel
During the second half of the 1990s, sales of heavy construction equipment on a world - wide basis will grow at 4,5 percent per annum, reaching $ 7,2 billion in current dollar terms by 2000. This rate is unchanged from that in the previous ten years. But regions differ, growth will be fastest in asia at about 9 percent per year, slowest in the developed nations at slightly over 3 percent per year. Earth moving equipment wil continue to account for almost half of sales, but the fastest growing category will be off - highway trucks. Parts and attachments constitute a major components of shipments and often proven to be the most profitable segment for producers. While the major firms, led by catterpillar and komatsu, continue to battle for market share, they also maintain and even expand their cooperative alliances to assure stability, loyalty, and profits.
