Isi artikel
The article is based on the author's extensive survey of how business organizations adapt to their economic environments by taking the economy into account in their plannning. The study found that economists are capable of making important contributions to the business planning proces. The survey also revealed that most business economists fail to take full advantage of this opportunity to assist companies in adapting to their economic environments. This may be one of the reasons why many corporations encountered difficulties in adapting to changing economic conditions and why many business economists lost their jobs in recent years.
