Isi artikelThe Effect Of Fuel (Lpg) / Air Mixture Comparison On Form And Speed Of Fire Spreading Almost 90% of the world energy are obtained from fuel combustion. Fuel not only causes air polution but also reduces its source countiusually. Therefore the use of fuel gas most be intensified. Then, the aim of this research is to analyze the effect of LPG/air mixture ratio on the speed and form flame in Helle shaw cell of H x W x D58.5 x 18.5 x 1cm3. The variance of LPG/air mixture ratio comprises to 1:13, 1:14, 1:15, 1:16, 1:17, 1:18, 1:19, 1:20, 1:21, and 1:22. The ignition of the mixture was done from the top and bottom of the cell and the flame motions was observed with high-speed camera Results of research indicate that the highest average flame speed and the most perfect form of fire evolve from ignition at stoichiometry condition, that is between 1:20 and 1:21 LPG/air mixture ratio, both at ignition from the top and bottom.
