Isi artikel
The theme for this issue of School Libraries Worldwide is evidence-based practice. As I reflected on the articles that make up this issue, I was reminded of the research done by Laurel A. Clyde (known to many of us simply as Anne) over the past five years or so on research and researchers in school librarianship (see Clyde, 2001, for a description of that program of research). Anne and I discussed this research program frequently, but it was not until 2004 that we worked together on one aspect of that research, namely, the contributions of School Libraries Worldwide to evidence-based practice in school libraries. We analyzed the research and best-practices articles published in School Libraries Worldwide (SLW) from 1995 to 2003 and wrote a joint paper reporting our findings (Clyde & Oberg, 2004). Recently, I updated the work that led to that paper, adding the papers published in SLW from 2004 to 2006 to our earlier analysis. I am pleased to report those updated findings here in a revised and shortened version in School Library Worldwide's final hard-copy issue.
