A digital signature functions as written signature in printed documents, provides a greater degree security than a handwritten signature. The recipient can verify both message originated from the person whose signature is attached and message has not been altered either intentionally or accidentally since it was signed. The Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) is an algorithm of digital signatures based on elliptic curve cryptography and the elliptic curve analogue of the Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA). This paper focuses on the approaches in El Gamal digital signature scheme and investigates some types of variations, used elliptic curve signature.
