Skin detection important process in computer vision algorithm. Detection steps are performed in pixel level, which include color space transformation followed by classification. Color space transformation is required to separate chrominant element from illuminant element in color pixel intensity. This separation will enhance the difference between skin region as foreground region and the non - skin region as background region. In this paper, skin color modeling is explained in the sense of parametric and non - parametric model. Experiment done in Skin Probability Map Models, including statistical information. The real implementation of these models has been used for faces detection in digital images.
