This article deals with the tool that is extremely needed in academic activities in order to have new information from various materials. The academicians or whoever they are, have to improve their knowledge through analyzing the materials in writing forms such as books, journals or magazines. These activities which for critical analyses involve the endeavour to categorize, or break down of something into its component parts, especially testing these parts to find out their nature, proportions, functions, interrelationships and classifications or their groupings. They clearly deal with the reading activities which need a good language ability. In short, these analysis competencies that are always needed by the academicians that can be upgraded through reading extensively.
