Isi artikel
A consensus is growing that the american health care system is in need of serious reform. Many of the reforms currently being discussed would greatly increase the involvement of government in the health care system. This article examines some of the most prominent proposals, including government - operated, universal coverage, "play or pay" business mandates, insurance regulatory reform, and managed competition. These proposals may have unintended consequences that will increase health care costs, limit access to care, or both.
