Like other Asian countries, Korea as a society is struggling to provide services to its ever-growing elderly population. This article outlines some of the issues involved in providing dementia care
services. It focuses on the growing demand for services and the need
to provide services in the social and cultural context of the Korean
family structure. It illustrates these points through a case study, and
suggests future service needs. |
