Isi artikelBusiness organizations need to improve to meet the challenge of world competitiveness. Productivity and quality improvement is most effective when it is done in a balanced manner to include managerial, behavioural and technical initiatives. Organizations need to introduce a much more data - driven orientation, facilitating both grass - roots continous improvement and top - down stategic projects to correct benchmarked shortfalls. The most common improvement theme is taking the variation and waste out of upstream systems in order to create complete customer satisfaction with finished products and services.
