This article presents the design of, and student?s responses to, a Web-enhanced course titled ?Inquiry Methods Integrating Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Society (MSTS) in Elementary Grades.? The course was part of the pilot test of a novel approach to a compressed-time alternative pathway masters of arts in teaching degree for career-change students in elementary education. Students? responses indicated this approach to MSTS and inquiry served to unify many of the other courses in the degree program. |
