Among women, carcinoma oft he cervix is the second most common form of cancer in many developing countries. Cervical cancer has several well-established epidemiologic riskfactors. Human papiloma virus (HP V) infection appears to have an etiologic role in development of cervical neoplasma, but evidence linking HP V infection to know risk factors for cervical cancer has been inconsistent. HPV 16 was the predominant type in all countries. A Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) DNA amp! jfication method for detection of HP V 16 was used to investigate the determinant of genital HP V 16 infection in a cross-sectional sample of 75 women of sexual commercial worker in 6 localisation in Surabaya and to form Model of Probability Equation to get infection HPVI6 in women of sexual worker. The data was analyzed with logistic regression. Result of the study, HP VI 6 was detected in 34,7% of the smear asymtomatic cervix. The risk of HP V 16 infection was tend increasing equal with education (p=O, 055), age at first married (p=O,03t$) and length of intercourse in a lifetime (p=O,OlS). Someone with five years of intercourse in lifetime have risk 5,759 time than ten years, because women of sexual commercial worker in that time was too young so they have high sexual activity. Conclusions was confirm the role HPV16 infection which are transmitted sexually and we sugeested that women of sexual commercial worker could get informal education about prevention of HPV infection.
